For many years Linkup Security has been heavily
involved in computing as a result of the nature of the modern security industry and the systems which we have to operate.
During the last 15 years some members of the Linkup Security family have branched off directly into the IT
industry and having excelled both at home and abroad in their fields have now come home to start the obvious
spinoff of the very successful Linkup Security.
We aim to continue in the spirit of Linkup Security and offer the same excellent service and support
our customers have come to expect over the years.

Simon Taylor is the Managing Director and co-founder of Link-IT with responsibility for leadership and
driving its growth and technical strategy. Prior to Link-IT, Simon worked for Corizon - a Technology
company in the UK - heading up their systems division and taking the company from a 5 person startup
through to a multi-national company with some very big name clients such as British Telecom and Homeserve.
After 8 years in the chaos of London he decided to leave it behind and spent a year crossing the African
continent in a Landcruiser before getting back to settle in Vryheid.

Jonathan Taylor is the Software Director and co-founder of Link-IT with responsibility for sourcing,
supporting and developing custom software. Prior to Link-IT, Jonathan worked for Khanyisa Real Systems, a ICT
consulting and software development company based in Cape Town. During the 5 years he was with them he led
diverse projects from a large gym chain membership tracking through to a medical data collection. He has also
contracted to several large companies both locally and abroad, developing software and providing ICT infrastructure
support. He specializes in software development, data cleaning and integration, as well as hardware/software data
interchange.

Andrew Taylor is the Hardware Director and co-founder of Link-IT responsible for technical aspects of the
business. Andrew has been the Technical Director of Linkup Security for the past 7 years and still heads up
the technical department providing all staff training and support when needed. He has also worked
in the IT industry in the UK for 2 years and has been involved in the computing world his whole life. |
